Terms and Conditions — CuriioSkill

1. Agreement

These Terms and Conditions form a binding agreement between you and CuriioSkill, the legal entity operating the Service (the "Seller", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using CuriioSkill ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

CuriioSkill provides interactive workplace simulations, AI-assisted mentoring, and related learning content for users exploring or pivoting into tech careers. Content is provided for educational purposes and does not guarantee employment outcomes.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and notify us of any unauthorized access.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Pro plans are billed monthly or yearly. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are further governed by the Paddle Checkout Buyer Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to access it via unauthorized means, reverse-engineering it, reselling content, or using it to violate any applicable law.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and software on CuriioSkill are owned by CuriioSkill or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-transferable license to access the Service for personal, non-commercial use.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or specific learning or career outcomes.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CuriioSkill will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, in whole or in part, with or without notice, if: (a) you materially breach these Terms; (b) payment for your subscription fails or is reversed; (c) we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, or a security risk associated with your account; or (d) you repeatedly or seriously violate our acceptable use rules. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability survive termination.
